Winners of Tyson LGS Harvest 2017 Photo Contest

It's a wrap for our first-ever harvest photo contest! From October 11 to October 25, we hosted a photo competition for all Tyson LGS farmers to show us what harvest means to them. Our entries showed us that harvest means hard and rewarding work, a multitude of crops, community, and generations of family farmers.

We'd like to thank all of the farmers who participated, and shared their farm and families with us. It's the best part of our jobs! The Tyson Foods Commodity Purchasing Group voted on the photo entries, and narrowed it down to the first, second, and third place winners.

First Place: Ryan Hager

"'Tis the season."

Ryan Hager of Flaherty, Kentucky, was the first place winner with his evening photo of what harvest looks like to him. Hager received the Tyson LGS gift bundle, which included four hats and two branded tumbler cups. Congratulations, Ryan!

Second Place: Delann Hancock

"These are our precious grandkids playing in Pawpaw's corn before he hauls it to the Tyson Feed Mill in Albertville, Alabama."
Delann Hancock of Dutton, Alabama, received second place for this sweet photo of his grandchildren playing in the corn. Hancock received Tyson LGS gear for his placing. Congratulations, Delann!

Third Place: Lee Eggerman

Lee Eggerman of Lockwood, Missouri, placed third for this photo featuring two generations of harvest helpers - his dad and his two twin sons. Eggerman also received Tyson LGS gear for his placing. Congratulations, Lee!
